Do you ever get the feeling that no matter how hard you try, no matter what you do, you never seem to measure up because of your daily failures? You start your day off in prayer and worship, but as soon as you step out of that space with Him, satan starts attacking! I’ve had satan attack me before I could even get started trying to praise and worship, and attack me before I could even get finished. Satan loves to distract the minds of God’s children. Then, it seems as if all that time spent in prayer and worship went out the window because you became frustrated that you allowed him bother you.
Reminder: God sees you! When the frustration starts to come outward, satan thinks he has won, but may I remind you that God has already won, and satan has been defeated! Don’t give up! If you are anything like me, when the frustrations of life tend to creep in, and they do, more times than I’d like to admit (after all, we are human). The more and more you try to control it, the more aggravated you become. Here it comes rushing in like a tidal wave, the conviction, and it fills your heart, and all you say with deep disappointment is, “God, I am so sorry. Please, Father, forgive me!"
If you do feel these things, I am here to advise you, you are not too far gone, and you are not alone! Conviction is a way of showing you that The Holy Spirit is working within you. God is always with you, even to the end of age! Millions of people fail daily, I included. No one is perfect, and God doesn’t expect us to be. After all, He is the One that created you, so He already knows what you are going to do, long before you do it. In Romans 3:23 it states, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of His glorious standard.” NLT
BUT….
Aren’t you glad that in verse 24, He gives us great news apart from hearing that no matter what, we will all fall short? In verse 24, God gives us His good news through His Apostle Paul. 24 says, “Yet, God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins.” NLT
Praise God that He loves us so much that He had it all worked out for good. Just like in Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those that love God and are called according to His purpose for them.” NLT Now, this is not a free hall pass in life to go and do as you please and say, “God forgive me” move on, and sin again, and repeat.
God gives us free will to chose Him daily. He can’t choose for you. You have to be open to Him, to choose Him, even when you can’t lift your head. There will be days when you feel that all hope is lost, or that you’re just not good enough. I am here telling you DO NOT believe the lies of the enemy. You see, just as much as Jesus wants your heart, the enemy wants you just as badly. He wants hell to grow bigger and bigger. “Jesus calls us by our names, but satan calls us by our sins.” -Bryce Crawford.
In John 10:10 it says, (Jesus speaking) “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. (Wait for the goodness) My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” And in verse 11 states, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices His life for the sheep.” Isn’t God good!! His plans, and everything He has given to us, everything He has laid out for us, is all for our good! Just as a dad is to protect his children. God protects us all! Jesus died for you, for me, for the sinners, for everyone. God, our Father in Heaven, sent Jesus into this world, born of a virgin, to be The King of The Universe. He did not come to condemn the world, but to save it. All He asks of us, is for our hearts, and to follow Him.
If you look at it from my perspective, in the past, I’ve given my heart to all the wrong people. Why was it so hard for me to give my heart to The One that created me? Once I finally let go, and surrendered my heart, my all to Jesus, hands down, best decision I’ve ever made! He has been so, so good to me, and He will be good to you as well. Does this mean that we will live a perfect life? Absolutely not, but my life is much more fulfilling than it ever was before. Jesus didn’t create us for a perfect life. He created us for a divine purpose. To serve Him, to glorify Him, and to tell and show others His love for us.
If you are on the fence about it, just as I once was, just call on Him. Reach out to someone whom you know is a trustworthy, Godly person. Change your secular music to praise and worship. Change your free time to prayer time. Change your ungodly shows to Godly ones. I highly recommend The Chosen. It helped me get a better understanding of the love Jesus actually has for us. Do this for two straight weeks, with no cheating, and I promise you, you will see and feel a major difference. God can! He did it for me, He has done it for others, and He will do it for you also. We are all His children. All He wants is for us to love, accept, and follow Him.
Remember to give God the glory today for all the good and bad. The good is a reminder that He loves us. The bad is a reminder of who He created us to be, so either way, bad is still good. When you feel overwhelmed or frustrated, or just feel the stress and the weight of this world creeping in, step away in silence for a moment, give it to God, and ask for His guidance. He will bring you through whatever He brought you to. It may be to protect you, or it may just be a test to see if you will remain faithful to Him. He will never leave you, nor will He forsake you!
Scripture for Strength
Hebrews 13:6 NLT “So we can say with confidence The Lord is my helper, so I will not fear. What can mere people do to me?
When all hope seems lost and you are unsure of His love for you, please read and memorize this Scripture. Write it down and post it wherever you spend most of your time, so you will see it often.
Hebrews 13:5 NLT “Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God said; I will never fail you. I will never abandon you."
Could I also encourage you to read the entire 13th chapter of Hebrews today? Truly read it, don’t just skim through it. Focus on it, study it, and soak it all in.
I truly hope you enjoyed God’s message from me to you today.
This is a blog post from Remain In Faith praying you have a blessed, beautiful, and anointed day!

Thank you! I love that God is always with up wanting the very best for His children so much that He chose to sacrifice His own life for us so we could live with Him forever!
